Pascal Sender's practice expands painting beyond the physical canvas, bringing together traditional painting, coding, augmented reality and interactive technology.
Using an app he hand-coded, the paintings can be viewed through a phone camera as three-dimensional, moving experiences. The physical painting and the digital interaction are not original and copy; they are two perspectives on one work.
