Characters confront their entanglement with technology and culture, from obsessive media consumption to the merging of human and machine intelligences. The distorted yet familiar figures raise questions about identity, agency, and what it means to be human in an era of accelerating technological disruption.

Peripheral Futures is a kinetic LED fan displaying a fifteen-minute loop of unresolved text-to-video generations from The Future of Life. The spinning display turns these near-misses into a hypnotic stream of speculative fragments. The work explores what it means for machines to imagine futures they cannot fully render, revealing the poetic potential in failure, uncertainty, and the limits of prediction. Peripheral Futures invites viewers to consider that every vision of the future is, in some way, a partial one.
